Served in Govt Leprosy center at Polambakkam Chengalput district for 2 years. Served in Hill station, Govt hospital, Gudalur, Udhagamandalm district. Worked as Plastic Surgeon at Govt. Kilpauk Medical College, Madras Medical College & Stanley Medical College, and worked for 26 Years in the surgical specialty. In 1996, Kanchipuram District collector (NOW PRESENT CHIEF SECRETARY THIRU IRAIANBU IAS) received an appreciation award for the highest number of IOL surgeries from the blindness control program. Presented research papers in ISBI (International study on burns injury) ISBI Delhi. Presented research papers at NABICON ( National Academy of Burns Injury), Delhi, Bombay, BANARUS. Presented research papers at APSICON (Association of Plastic Surgeons of India conference). Presented research papers at TANPAPS (Tamilnadu & Pondichery Association of Plastic Surgeons. Publication of more than 20 papers in national and international journals. Worked as Professor & HOD & Medical Superintendent at Chengalpattu Medical College. While being a Medical Superintendent at Chengalpattu Medical College, around 4356 DENGUE patients were managed without any deaths. Now working as HOD Hand & Plastic Surgery, Stanley Medical College Hospital. Doing more number of microsurgical procedures, like hand, finger, scalp replant procedures and peripheral nerve surgery.
